

A network services provider designing, building, optimizing, and maintaining wireline and wireless telecom networks.
The role involves conducting site surveys or full engineering at customer locations, including identifying bay placements, structural design, cable routing, cable lengths, site conditions, and assignment verification. The engineer will create central office drawings, specify AC requirements, hardware, and develop fiberguide designs, delivering an upfront plan that meets customer specifications. Acting as the primary customer contact, the individual will interface with customers and local supervisors to clarify project status, and must be willing to travel extensively while completing assignments with minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate holds a BSEE or BS degree, or is an electronics trade school graduate with 2‑3 years of telecommunications central office engineering or installation experience. Strong technical knowledge, ability to work independently, and willingness to travel are required.
The position requires frequently lifting or moving up to 70 pounds and working in a moderate‑noise environment that may change frequently. Employees must be adaptable and may receive reasonable accommodations for disabilities.
