Lead the annual budgeting cycle while providing insightful and actionable analysis to site/Group leadership on sales performance, RMS% and other cost drivers to guide commercial decisions
Drive Finance’s role in TOP X (Tricel’s Operational Excellence program) by coordinating team efforts to embed KPIs, streamline processes, and deliver continuous improvement across the site
Ensure strict adherence to Group policies and statutory requirements through robust controls, reconciliations, and audit readiness
Support the business in relation to general development or ad-hoc projects and issues
Take ownership of recurring compliance filings - including VAT returns, Intrastat submissions, payroll reporting, and pension filings - ensuring accuracy and timeliness through a mix of personal execution and team coordination
Oversee credit control team to manage site credit risk, ensuring policy compliance, timely collections, and proactive working capital management
Act as the site lead for the external audit engagement, coordinating all requirements and ensuring a smooth, timely, and fully compliant annual statutory audit cycle
Provide proactive finance support to the business by resolving day to day queries, partnering on strategic initiatives and projects, and acting as a key member of the site senior management team to drive long term performance improvement
Support stock accuracy by overseeing stock counts, monitoring stock KPIs, and ensuring a robust system of financial control around inventory processes
Act as the site’s working capital steward, overseeing cash inflows and outflows, optimizing collections (DSO) and supplier payments (DPO), and driving initiatives to improve liquidity
Own the site’s full P&L and balance sheet, managing key accounting processes and leading the accounting team to deliver accurate month-end close and insightful variance analysis, with this role responsible for the final review and sign-off of monthly accounts
