This role centres on providing forensic and restoration expertise across a broad range of structures, from historic buildings and high-rises to bridges, plazas, parking facilities, tunnels, and water-retention systems. The consultant will act as the lead contact for clients, guiding projects through investigation, assessment, repair design, budgeting, and construction administration. The position requires both technical proficiency and client-facing leadership, with a focus on diagnosing structural or waterproofing deficiencies and delivering practical, long-term solutions.
- Provide oversight during construction, ensuring project requirements, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and provide mentorship to junior staff.
- Represent the firm at site visits, client meetings, and industry events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while promoting restoration and forensic engineering services.
- Develop tailored repair strategies, budgets, and technical documentation to support remediation projects.
- Analyse third-party design documents, specifications, and calculations to evaluate accuracy and compliance.
- Manage project records within internal project management systems.
- Lead investigations, surveys, and diagnostic testing on existing structures to identify underlying defects or deterioration.

- Professional Engineer (P.E.) licence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or Architecture.
- Comfortable with regular travel for client and project needs.
- Demonstrated ability in structural assessment, repair design, and construction-phase services.
- Highly self-directed with strong problem-solving ability and sound judgement.
- Proven experience managing complex projects and client relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present findings to senior decision-makers.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in structural restoration, forensic engineering, or a related discipline.
