• Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting to onboarding.
• Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to create effective recruiting strategies.
• Utilize sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, and referrals.
• Represent the company at career fairs, industry events, and university recruiting programs.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Manager and leadership to improve recruitment processes.
• Promote the company’s brand and culture within the AEC community.
• Occasional travel for fairs, conferences, and on‑site recruiting events.

Requirements

Civil Science is seeking a motivated and experienced Engineering Recruiter with a background in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of sourcing and hiring top talent, managing the full recruitment lifecycle, and partnering closely with hiring managers to meet critical staffing needs. This role also includes opportunities to represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to attract high-quality candidates.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass both a criminal background check and driving record review. Civil Science evaluates sponsorship for temporary or permanent work visas on a case‑by‑case basis. • 4+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in AEC or related technical industries.
• Proven ability to source and attract engineering professionals and fill challenging positions.
• Strong understanding of civil, construction, and related industry roles.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Familiarity with ATS and sourcing platforms like Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Indeed.
• Experience recruiting both technical and non‑technical roles in engineering or construction.
• Knowledge of employment best practices and recruitment metrics.
• Physical requirement: prolonged sitting at a desk working on a computer.
• Physical requirement: ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform squatting, bending, and lifting.
