Identify non-conformances, recommend corrective actions, and follow up to ensure issues are resolved.
Liaise with client and third party inspectors as needed
Complete all associated documentation; quality control reports, weld mapping, coating reports and turnover documents
Monitor and record parts and heat numbers throughout fabrication and installation
Review of Material Test Reports
Inspecting buildings and structures at various construction stages to ensure code compliance
Collaborate with construction on continuous improvement initiatives
Control of turnover documentation provided by subcontractors throughout the project

Experience with NDE Processes
Ability to work within strict deadlines and under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor
Ability to read and interpret client, industry, CSA standards and specifications
Excellent communicator: excellent written and oral communications skills
Experience with Structural Welding Procedures and Processes
Proficient with computer software programs such as Word, Excel, Bluebeam
CSA W178.2 W59 level 2 certification and experience with structural steel
Witness bolt up
Ability to read and interpret drawings and prints
