The manager will supervise R&M contractors, monitor and challenge their performance against KPIs, SLAs and targets, and ensure all street works comply with health‑and‑safety and highway legislation. They will manage leak and burst repairs within agreed service levels to meet regulatory leakage goals, maintain regional depots to achieve 100 % safety metric compliance, and coordinate minor work and network‑driven schemes cost‑effectively. We are seeking an experienced Network Services Manager to oversee safe, efficient and compliant water network operations across our region. This critical operational role bridges strategic planning and on‑the‑ground delivery, providing rigorous oversight of repair and maintenance contractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, within budget and in line with contractual, regulatory and health‑and‑safety requirements.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in water distribution and network systems, at least three years of team management and supervision experience, and holds recognised qualifications in management, highway management and health‑and‑safety. A proven track record of delivering water repair and maintenance contracts, managing third‑party contractors, and recent practical knowledge of main‑laying practices is essential.
