Description

The role supports the Finance division by performing a variety of accounting assignments and ensuring general‑ledger balances comply with GAAP and regulatory requirements. The incumbent works collaboratively with a team to execute monthly close activities, maintain reconciliations, monitor capital assets, prepare journal entries, and generate supporting schedules for audits.

• Participate in monthly accounting close activities
• Perform general‑ledger account reconciliations and variance analysis
• Research and resolve open reconciling items following policies
• Monitor capital asset additions, process transactions, and track completion dates
• Prepare journal entries and general accounting duties as needed
• Generate supporting schedules, analyses, and reports for closing and audits
• Identify and troubleshoot accounting issues by researching relevant information
• Maintain internal controls over financial reporting per guidance
• Demonstrate and maintain a good safety record

Requirements

Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent experience), a solid grasp of accounting fundamentals, and strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Proficiency with SAP, PowerPlan, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is preferred, along with effective communication and teamwork skills.
