  • Lead work groups in order to improve departmental systems and processes.
  • Guide technical and administrative aspects of departmental transit testing projects
  • Prepare detailed written and verbal communications for internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and procedures
  • Comply with Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Inc management systems in accordance with ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
  • Interact/participate with industry to review and interpret standards
  • Operate and maintain testing equipment and analytical instrumentation
  • Implement best practices in transit testing methodologies and quality assurance processes
  • Perform final review and critical error analysis of technical data and reports
  • Organize and monitor workload to meet laboratory turnaround times
  • Provide support for technical and administrative aspects of various departmental projects, providing direction to other staff members as needed.
  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in transit testing environments, providing direction to other lab personnel.
  • Deliver precise recommendations and interpretations addressing compliance, test requests, and complex testing challenges
  • Provide technical consultation and problem resolution for client inquiries
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current industry regulations and testing standards
  • Assist in departmental project coordination
  • Provide mentorship and technical direction for junior engineers and technicians
  • Review contract requirements to ensure client specification adherence
  • Develop and implement new testing services, methods, and procedures
  • Manage lab cleanliness and supply inventory
  • Develop materials and conduct client visits and educational tours.
  • Interface with staff members to ensure global testing consistency
  • Provide technical opinions, recommendations, interpretation pertaining to compliance, test requests, and testing issues.
  • Serve as primary technical contact for external and internal clients specializing in transit testing and reliability
  • Develop comprehensive technical materials demonstrating transit testing capabilities
  • Identify/assist with new business opportunities/development activities/technical services.
  • Lead and direct technical and administrative aspects of various departmental projects, providing direction to other staff members as needed.
  • Prepare samples for testing following rigorous standards and specifications
  • Prepare and deliver technically sophisticated quotes, proposals, and presentations to prospective and existing clients
  • Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, presentations, calls to prospects and clients.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and reporting standards
  • Provide technical consultation relating to International Safe Transit Association (ISTA) testing requirements
  • Evaluate test results for compliance with ISTA and ASTM transit requirements
