Experience in Jacket design will be an added advantage.
A recognized B.Tech/M.Tech Degree in the relevant discipline or equivalent.
A comprehensive understanding of structural analysis in the areas of dynamic loading, collapse analysis, spectral fatigue analysis, fire and explosion design, dropped object etc.
More than 10 years of Experience, min 10 years’ experience conceptual studies, FEED, and detailed design of substructure, deck, and bridges. Offshore projects - Fixed offshore Platforms/ FPSO / FLNG is mandatory.
To produce structural/system models on Sesam GeniE, FEMAP, STAAD-Pro, and SACS. Also, should have fair knowledge in developing the local calculations using spreadsheets/Mathcad etc.
Applicants require experience in working in a structural engineering team within a large multi discipline project team.
10+ years Oil and Gas Industry experience.
Conversant with API, DNV, AISC, BS codes.
Knowledge of writing Java scripts for Sesam GeniE is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of SACS suite of software experience is essential.
The role mandates previous experience in minimum facility platform design and including the substructure, topsides and bridges.
