Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull: objects, materials, controls and tools.
Perform pre-installation inspections as required including receipt, pre-installation, installation, and bolting, and alignment inspections.
Verify requirements through review of material certifications per project requirements.
Visually inspect material, and equipment for damage and general workmanship.
Notify supervisors or other personnel of production problems.
Collects and records results of inspections by part number and enters data on inspection forms, logs or data bases.
Read and understand the owner’s specifications, governing codes, and drawings.
Compare part numbers, drawing numbers, specifications, and revision levels on equipment and material being received.
Identify nonconforming items and segregate them from accepted items.
Prepare written documentation of findings and issue reports. File report in correct sequence or format.
Inspect raw/loose material, finished parts, and fittings, to purchase order and applicable documentation.
Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/spoggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves and leather steel-toed work boots.
Inspect item (s) for adherence to specifications, drawings, codes, and standards.
May be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.
Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding using the appropriate fall protection requirements.
Identify accepted items to be inventoried.

Previous construction experience within the oil and gas industry
Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting.
Good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors
Current Zachry or Zachry ROF’ed employee.
Former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc.
Ability to work with others – team player
Have the ability to read and interpret documents, blueprints, codes and specifications.
Will talk and hear to communicate.
Must have good aptitude and manual dexterity
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Package. Familiar with other computer packages (e.g. MS Project, Outlook, Bluebeam, etc.)
Good reading comprehension
Former QC experience.
