- Support APS (Altec Production System) initiatives. May participate in kaizen events
- Follow established safety, environmental and quality policies, procedures and practices
- Learn and operate all equipment within the work area (cell)
- Maintain work area and shop tools/equipment
- Testing of installed components
- Maintain daily time records
- Use basic hand tools such as tape measure and specialty equipment
- Use and conduct proper care of PPE
- Hands-on work with hoses, fittings, pumps, and cylinders

- Basic computer usage knowledge desired
- Mechanical and Automotive Aptitude - Automotive, mechanical and hydraulic experience including plumbing and pulling hose. Installing pumps and PTOs
- Blueprints and Schematic interpretation - Ability to read, understand and work from schematics and technical drawings to support hydraulic host assembly and ensure correct installation, function and performance.
- Ability to assemble hydraulic components accurately and efficiently
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend required
- Ability to read tape measure, blue prints, and schematics desired
- Hydraulic experience required
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic systems
- Vocational Training in lieu of experience will be considered
- Read and interpret work orders
- Willing to move to other work areas in order to support production needs. (Cross-train)
