Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description

• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and account details.
• Maintain accurate records of receivables and customer communications.
• Collaborate with the shipping and sales departments to verify order fulfillment and billing accuracy.
• Prepare reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in implementing process improvements to streamline billing and collections.
• Generate and distribute invoices based on production schedules and delivery confirmations.
• Reconcile payments with invoices and resolve discrepancies related to product deliveries or pricing.
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Knowledge of industry-specific compliance and documentation requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with freight and logistics billing.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and accounting software.
• Effective communication skills for working with internal teams and external customers.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Understanding of manufacturing workflows and inventory systems.
