Lead and support other teams' migration to Snowflake, providing technical guidance and platform solutions rather than direct data engineering
Understand what it takes to develop resilient, scalable and secure data platform solutions
Be able to work with our technical leadership teams to inform the technical evolution of our Snowflake platform and its integration with our broader applications

Our backend services are implemented in C# and Python
Have expert-level experience with Snowflake, including its architecture, capabilities, and how it integrates within a wider data platform ecosystem
Have effective communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to scale engineering initiatives across teams adopting the Snowflake platform
Our web products are developed using TypeScript and React
Be a technical leader who can work across multiple teams to solve complex technical problems, particularly around Snowflake integration and platform adoption
We implement GraphQL and RESTful APIs using NodeJS and NestJS
Recognise that people build software and working with others is key to success, especially when enabling other teams to adopt new platform capabilities
Have expert level understanding of modern software engineering, from test automation to architectural principles, applied to data platform development
Have technical experience of complex platform projects and be able to act as a technical authority on Snowflake implementations
Have strong experience building web-based applications, supporting micro-services and deploying them in a cloud environment, with specific focus on data platform infrastructure
