Service Manager

Description

The Service Manager is responsible for supervising repair and maintenance activities, ensuring timely installation of mechanical equipment, and maintaining clean, hygienic premises in line with Fairstead safety policies. The role also oversees the operational efficiency of electrical and mechanical systems through regular inspection, repair, and coordination of special projects or emergencies.

• Supervise maintenance employees.

• Work independently on routine projects and seek assistance for complex tasks.
• Provide overtime support for special projects or emergencies.

Requirements

• Perform skilled maintenance and repair tasks.
• Utilize a specific trade expertise along with general maintenance skills.
• Minimum three years of property‑maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in a specific trade plus general maintenance and repair skills.
• Knowledge of building and mechanical trade tools, techniques, and terminology.
• Strong understanding of accident and safety precautions.
• Experience using a variety of tools and equipment to complete tasks.
• Excellent organization and project‑management abilities.
• Ability to implement and improve policies and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Yardi and RealPage knowledge a plus.
