- Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.
- Frequently working around energized equipment with the risk of electrocution/scalding/burns/other etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all tools and materials are properly stored after use.
- Follow instructions to control the sequence and order of parts for processing.
- Meet department targets and consistently adhere to quality and safety standards.
- Document temperatures and time exposure for parts during heat treatment and electroplating processes.
- Monitor the basic functions of heat treatment machinery and auxiliary equipment, under guidance from more senior team members.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure production deadlines are met, reporting any potential delays or issues promptly.
- Use basic measuring equipment to ensure part dimensions and plating thicknesses are within required tolerances.
- Perform all tasks in compliance with established safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Clean and remove grease from parts using Ransohoff machines and ensure parts are properly prepared for electroplating.
- Assist with loading and unloading parts into racks, barrels, and baskets for heat treating, cleaning, and electroplating.

- Continuously working with machinery with moving parts/vehicles/forklifts/heavy machinery/sharp objects/other etc.
- Metal Finishing equipment such as sand, vapor and metal sprayers to the job description.
- Continuously exposed to moderate noise levels, including machinery and forklifts.
- Lifting: Frequently required to solo or team lift and/or carry items exercising sound judgment to employ manual handling or machine lifts where required, and risk assessments, if appropriate.
- Frequently exposed to extreme heat (non-weather) conditions/other etc.
- Standing: Continuously required to stand and perform tasks.
- Display a willingness to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
- Manual Dexterity: Frequently required to use hand-eye coordination to control both hands and arms for a full range of motion to operate equipment/machinery/power tools/office productivity equipment.
- Observation/ Eyesight: Frequently required to observe details at close range including depth perception, peripheral vision and the ability to differentiate between colors
- Low Posture: Frequently required to perform tasks using a low posture, including but not limited to stooping, bending, crawling, crouching, kneeling, or squatting.
- Position self/ mode: Frequently required to position self to perform tasks involving but not limited to reaching, twisting, rotating, and pushing/pulling.
- Walking: Frequently required to walk moderate distances across the S&C campus.
- Bending: Frequently ascending or descending stairs and ladders.
- Continuously working indoors in an non air-conditioned/air conditioned manufacturing-based environment.
