What you would be doing

  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and service requests from tenants and mall operations.
  • Support fire safety checks, emergency lighting tests, and other statutory inspections.
  • Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on M&E systems (e.g., HVAC, lighting, plumbing, fire protection).
  • Monitor and operate Building Management Systems (BMS) and other control systems.
  • Assist in verifying completed works and ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Assist in incident response and troubleshooting during emergencies.
  • Support mall operations during events, promotions, and peak periods.
  • Report any irregularities or potential issues to the Facilities Manager.
  • Ensure all maintenance works comply with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Carry out ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Facilities Management team.
  • Escort and supervise external contractors during maintenance works.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, fault reports, and equipment logs.

  • Excellent team player with a proactive attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in building/facilities maintenance, preferably in retail or commercial buildings.
  • NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
