- Review and approve contractor’s detour drawings and method statements.
- Prepare and review Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) and detour designs in coordination with design and construction teams.
- Provide technical advice and solutions for unexpected traffic issues.
- Supervise the contractor’s traffic management and detour works on site.
- Coordinate with stakeholders (traffic police, municipalities, utilities, and client representatives) for approvals of detours and closures.
- Apply international and local best practices for road safety in work zones.
- Maintain records of traffic management activities and incidents.
- Ensure continuous accessibility for emergency services, residents, and businesses.
- Ensure compliance with MOT / RCRC traffic standards, Saudi Building Codes, and safety regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures.
- Monitor site implementation of traffic diversions, signage, barriers, and lighting.
- Inspect traffic arrangements, ensuring they are properly executed and maintained.
- Support project scheduling to minimize disruption.
- Prepare progress reports and highlight non-compliance or safety concerns.
- Liaise with clients, authorities, and stakeholders on traffic diversions and road closures.
