The Technical Manager will be responsible for conducting technical assessments-inspections and preparing both field technical reports and inspection reports & liaising with both customers dealers and respective departments. The primary role is to carry out a wide range of inspections on vehicles of all types. To manage and oversee the technical service department to ensure that all customer inquiries and requests are addressed in a timely and efficient manner. To develop and implement strategies for improving the technical service department’s overall performance. He will act as the primary liaison between the dealership and manufacturers to address technical issues, support warranty claims, and implement long-term solutions or preventive measures.
To manage change and effectively pass on the information down the line to concerned teams for smoother execution.
Plan, organize and manage technical inspections of all vehicles for assessment.
Effectively lead teams and inspire others to achieve goals through innovation, quality and excellence.
Understand project requirements, coordinate with resources and direct the projects in the right direction in a timely manner.
Encourage team interaction, boost employee motivation and appreciate team contribution.
Ensuring timely resolution of customer issues without compromising on Quality.
Handling complex technical development concepts, latest software tools and technologies, strong database concepts and diagnostic techniques.
Escalating customer issues as necessary.
Address a recall campaign if required for service technical issues.
Examines vehicles for damage and drives vehicles to detect malfunctions. Tests vehicle components for wear, damage, or improper adjustment, using mechanical or electrical diagnostic tools.
Help customers as required with queries relating to agreed technical standards, services and deal with front line testing queries, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
Keep all the technical inspections report of all vehicles for assessment.
Liaise with all different sectors of the business as necessary.
Conduct vehicle inspections and produce detailed reports and reports needed repairs.
Analyzing existing diagnostics systems and making recommendations for upgrades and improvements.
Supervise technical tests to ensure proper technical implementations
Prepares the reports of technical vehicle inspections.
To match project tasks with opportunities for development so that employee potential is utilized to the maximum.
Development of technical specifications for all technical services and spare parts to meet functional requirements.
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards.
Delegate and allocate responsibilities efficiently to manage projects end to end.
Supervise technical tests to ensure proper technical implementations.
Developing and implementing technical support policies and procedures.
