We are seeking a Repair Development Engineer to design, develop, and validate repair solutions for defense engine components. The ideal candidate will apply engineering and metallurgical principles to extend component life, improve maintainability, and ensure compliance with performance and safety standards.

Develop and validate repair schemes for metallic and non-metallic engine hardware.
Generate technical documentation, including repair justifications, drawings, and approval packages.
Support process qualification, tooling design, and first article validation.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and materials engineering teams to optimize repair methods.
Perform engineering evaluations to justify repairs and assess their structural and functional integrity.
Interface with DoD customers and suppliers to ensure repair compliance and certification.

Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder

Experience Range: 3–10 Years

Hands-on familiarity with shop floor and manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in CATIA or Siemens NX for design and modeling.
Working knowledge of SAP or equivalent PLM/ERP systems.
Experience with aerospace or gas turbine repair development.
Strong understanding of metallurgical processes, including heat treatment, welding, and coatings.
Knowledge of FAA/DoD repair certification requirements.
Familiarity with aerospace maintenance and repair standards.
B.S. in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering (or related discipline).
