The Production Manager oversees fabrication teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This role optimizes production efficiency, coaches team members, and collaborates across departments to meet customer and company objectives, requiring a dynamic, motivated leader focused on execution, problem‑solving, and team motivation.
The work environment is a steel fabrication shop with exposure to heat, noise, and industrial equipment, and all employees must wear required PPE at all times. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 75 lb as needed.
Veritas Steel offers a competitive benefits package that includes company‑paid life and accidental death & dismemberment insurance, short‑term disability, employee‑paid medical, dental, and vision coverage, long‑term disability, a flexible spending account, and a retirement plan with both a 401(k) and a pension. Employees begin earning vacation after the first month, receive ten paid holidays, uniforms, an annual boot allowance, and necessary safety personal protective equipment.
Joining Veritas Steel means being part of a company that builds bridges connecting tomorrow’s communities, receiving competitive wages, and benefiting from a comprehensive benefits package, while enjoying a strong commitment to employee safety, development, and career growth.
Veritas Steel is a leader in the steel bridge fabrication industry with a broad range of experience in the manufacture of highly complex steel structures. We produce a complete line of bridge structures, from plate girder bridges found in highway overpasses and interchanges to complex bridges such as arch, bascule (drawbridge), cable-stayed, lift, railroad, suspension, and truss designs. We also offer additional heavy/complex steel structure fabrication. We have three state-of-the-art facilities in the Midwest and Southeast with more than 600,000 square feet of fabrication workspace on 117 acres. Our plants have close proximity to major rail, highway and waterway transportation, giving us substantial reach into the U.S. market for projects. While Veritas Steel is a new company, it has roots that go back over 100 years at our facility in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
