As a Sales Specialist in Customer Operations you will be at the heart of the sales journey, taking full responsibility for every customer interaction from the start of their experience with us. The role involves speaking with customers over the phone and email, engaging industry stakeholders and finding creative solutions to their challenges.
You will lead sales activities such as onboarding, retentions, switches and cross‑selling, continuously looking for new opportunities and suggesting improvements to our processes. A fast‑thinking, initiative‑driven approach is essential to keep enhancing the customer experience.
We are looking for candidates with a flair for sales, strong negotiation and commercial understanding, and the ability to match customers with the right product. Excellent customer service, resilience, passion, and a collaborative team spirit are also required.
The role offers a starting salary of £24,987, an OTE of £33,103 and uncapped commission, alongside a market‑leading benefits package that includes flexible hybrid working, 26 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, the option to purchase two additional weeks, and generous pension contributions.
You will work Monday to Friday, 9 am‑5 pm, spending two to three days a week in a hub (Nottingham City Centre or Syston) with free snacks, drinks and fresh fruit, and the remainder remotely. Training lasts eight weeks at the Nottingham hub, and both full‑time (37 h) and part‑time (minimum 30 h) contracts are available.
