  • Review bridge and structure plans to help identify critical elements, fatigue-prone details, and fracture-critical members.
  • Coordinate inspection activities, including field logistics, access equipment, and subcontractor support.
  • Collaborate with CADD staff and junior engineers to ensure accurate documentation and deliverables.
  • Support structural analysis and inspection coordination tasks as assigned.
  • Perform highway, transit, and rail bridge condition inspections under the supervision of a Team Leader.
  • Assist in the preparation of bridge inspection reports, including recommendations for repair and rehabilitation.

  • Willingness to travel daily within the New York metropolitan area.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and motivated to continue developing technical expertise.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation preferred.
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam passed, or intent to obtain, preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in bridge inspection and/or design.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills; able to work effectively in a team setting.
