Provide prompt reporting of any anomalies, including equipment issues etc.
Supervision of Applus+ personnel in relation to RA activities when deployed to client facilities for operational and shutdown activities.
As required, maintain and audit rope access inspection services with respect to: Equipment, Procedures, Competency & Safety
Assess safe work positions at height or in areas of difficult access for clients
Promote rope access inspection services with client representatives and liaise with clients in regard to rope access solutions.
Maintenance of personal documentation (i.e. certification, inductions, insurances etc), in particular IRATA Rope Access Level 3 certification.
Supervise rope access teams, ensuring safe work practices in accordance with international IRATA Code of Practice and Company and client standards, guidelines and procedures.
Liaise with NACEIII QAQC and clients in regard to coating application and where required reporting, ensuring a courteous manner is maintained at all times
Compile written reports in a timely manner.
Compile technical information for work packs and review final documents prior to issue
Carry out coating remediation as directed by Applus Inspectors and Client.
Provide prompt input into HSE reviews and incident investigations.
Provide prompt reporting to Applus+, with respect to HSE and integrity related issues, as requested.
Supervise RA services for Applus+ on specific client sites.
Ensure that equipment is maintained in a serviceable condition at all times and where required is calibrated.
As appropriate, provide guidance on coating and application systems appropriate to the defects encountered while maintaining adherence to client coating procedures, standards and scope of work.
Participate in further training to gain certification as required.
Ensure rope access inspection equipment and systems on site are maintained in accordance with Australian or recognised International Standards.
Provision to Applus+ of documentation (i.e. certification, inductions, insurances etc) as requested.

Good communication skills.
An understanding and current certification of Hunidur and Stopaq application.
Technical abilities and relevant qualifications (e.g. Rope Access and Industrial Blast & Paint, as appropriate)
Have a good knowledge of IRATA requirements, inspection codes criteria and statutory requirements.
Knowledge of the Company’s technical business including Advanced NDT, Plant Inspection, and Innovative Applications.
Must have IRATA Level 3
An understanding of surface preparation requirements for coating application.
