Clean, calibrate, maintain, and store testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
May be required to stand for long periods of time and potentially engage in frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting items in excess of 20lbs.
Read and interpret construction specifications and drawings, and follow operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Frequently on the road and may remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time.
Performs pre-task planning prior to executing work.
Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.
Work collaboratively with managers and other staff to ensure safety protocols are followed.
Perform analysis or calculations to check accuracy, applicability and reasonableness of test data.
Prepare timely and accurate reports and documentation of field activities and testing results.
Perform occasional laboratory tests on soil, asphalt, masonry and concrete when required to support project objectives.
Perform field materials testing on soil, asphalt, masonry and concrete and other construction materials in accordance with training and the specified procedures.
Maintains equipment in good working order and adheres to related calibration and storage.

1-year minimum experience required.
Able to work under pressure and multitask.
ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade I.
Demonstrate ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Familiarity with Construction practices and Materials testing Preferred.
Other national, regional, state, and local Materials related certifications within 120 Days Preferred.
Driver's License Upon Hire Required.
Accuracy, attention to detail and timeliness of results required.
Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
High School or GED required, Associates degree preferred, No Bachelors required.
Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 70 pounds on a regular basis.
Certified in radiation safety and Nuclear Density Gauge operation.
