Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Project Surveyor to join our Surveying team in Illinois. Our survey professionals achieve highly accurate results while maintaining quality control from field to office, ensuring precision of final client deliverables. Whether projects require conventional surveying methods, cutting‑edge geospatial scanning, or a combination, our licensed land surveyors, trained office technicians and field crews work seamlessly together to provide responsive and consistent professional survey services.
- High School Diploma/GED required; Associate degree or equivalent technical experience preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of related surveying experience.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Illinois; Indiana license highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.
- Proficient with various data techniques and coding systems.
- Advanced knowledge of surveying instruments, techniques, computations, angular and linear measurement systems, trigonometry and geometry.
- Valid driver’s license with clean motor vehicle record.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English for job‑related communications.
