What you would be doing
- Support the team in implementing ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
- Assist in preparing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental Management Plans (EMP), and Sustainability Reports for oil and gas projects.
- Contribute to design reviews to ensure environmental considerations are incorporated into engineering solutions.
- Conduct research on best practices, new technologies, and regulatory trends in environmental management within the oil and gas sector.
- Assist in developing environmental monitoring programs and performance metrics.
- Participate in environmental audits and compliance reviews in line with local and international regulations (e.g., IFC, World Bank, EPA).
- Support senior engineers in data collection, modeling, and analysis related to air emissions, water usage, waste management, and energy efficiency.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and client meetings.
