Assist with troubleshooting issues during machine commissioning or production

Interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to design control logic

Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills; ability to generate and deliver presentations
Basic understanding of safety standards related to industrial automation (e.g., ISO 13849)

Complete understanding of multiple SDLC
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN)

Team skills - Collaborate with the team as needed. Able to gain trust from their team, peers, and senior leadership. Provide technical leadership and act as a buddy to new employees.
Proficiency in ladder logic and structured text using platforms such as Schneider, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Beckhoff
Familiarity with HMI configuration tools such as FactoryTalk View, WinCC, or similar
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Understanding of industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.)
Analytical – The ability to discover, interpret, and communicate meaningful patterns and separate them into logical components or elements.
Excellent problem solving and strong analytical skills, ability to work on complex development tasks and large modules/features
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related field
3–5 years of experience in PLC development for industrial machinery
Communication - Able to communicate in a clear, concise manner. Able to engage with peers, managers, and senior leadership.
