  • Complies with all policies and standards
  • Reinforces or establishes clear roles and responsibilities for company oversight of contractors and recommends changes in organizational design and expectation as required.
  • Monitors contractor work for compliance with contract schedule, specifications/drawings, and quality.
  • Manages, mentors and motivate direct report Construction Coordinators, fostering a team environment with consistency across multiple construction sites.
  • Evaluates and directs the implementation of contractor safety and quality performance for PE and as identified by need, may do the same occasionally for generation facilities.
  • Models and coaches contractor interactions, specifically focused on front line leaders and individuals.
  • Develops and leads executive check-in forums with contractors that drive performance-based accountability from contractor leadership.
  • When performance issues are identified, responsible for investigating root cause, and collaborating within company and with the contractor to execute measurable corrective actions to ensure sustainable improvement which models expectation for all participants and stakeholders.
  • Ensures that each contractor has detailed and effective safety and quality plans.
  • Travel to all Project Engineering work locations across the service territory.
  • Ensures that contract language provides clarity around contractor’s performance expectations and how contractors will be held accountable to those expectations.
