The Warehouse Associate at Profile Food is responsible for efficiently moving, loading, and unloading a variety of products while maintaining safety and accuracy. This role involves operating forklifts and other equipment, verifying shipments against paperwork, and ensuring proper lot rotation and FIFO handling. The associate must communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and delivery personnel, and contribute suggestions for process improvements.
- Handle freight according to management and customer directives while meeting standards and timelines
- Keep site supervisor and manager informed about dock conditions, accomplishments, and concerns; suggest improvements
- Ensure proper lot rotation, including FIFO and organic product handling
- Manage response to rapidly changing inbound and outbound products
- Verify shipments are recorded and accurately matched to paperwork
- Transport selected product to designated dock area using power equipment
- Handle products safely to avoid teammate injury or product damage
- Comply effectively with company work and safety rules
- Maintain quality of work that limits miss picks, shortages, and damages
- Comply with company attendance policy
- Load or unload pallets, bags, and cases on/off trailers and vehicles using forklift, pallet jack, or by hand
- Operate forklift to move, locate, stack, stretch‑wrap, and count items throughout Profile Food
- Work directly with customer staff and outside delivery personnel in a positive, friendly manner
- Accountable for safe and efficient vehicle operation and may perform order filler and checker duties

The position requires significant physical effort, including repeated lifting of up to 50 lb, standing, walking, bending, and operating power equipment. A valid driver’s license and forklift certification are mandatory, and the ability to work in a safe environment while adhering to attendance and safety policies is expected.

- Forklift certified
- Strong knowledge of warehouse, inventory, and shipping operations methods and practices
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Problem solving, team building, project execution, and multitasking abilities
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and forklift certification
