Perform assessments of client facilities using professional expertise and judgment to determine physical condition, remaining service life, and compliance with specifications and building codes.
Assess multiple buildings within large complexes on a daily basis identifying major components and sub-components, as well as supporting systems, while operating in a physically demanding environment. Experience assessing government buildings/portfolios is a plus.

Ability to travel 75%, or more and work flexible hours. Travel could be up to 2-3 weeks, potential to be longer.
Prior military service in civil engineering, construction, or facilities management (AFCEC, DPW, IMCOM, Seabee, PRIME BEEF, RED HORSE, USACE).
Experience using mobile computer system devices for field data collection.
HS diploma or equivalent; BS Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering or a Two-year technical college or trade school certification in one of the building trades with relevant experience preferred.
Must work well with team members and interact with clients in a positive manner. Must present a clean and professional work appearance, following established dress codes.
Ability to lead both large and small teams and report team status daily.
Professional Engineers (PE or EIT) or Architects (RA) preferred but not required.

9+ years of experience conducting facility condition assessments.
Proficient computer skills, comfortable with technology and hardware, specifically Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint).
Valid passport or ability to obtain a valid passport.
Knowledge of facility condition assessment software applications like BUILDER SMS.
Ability to understand and implement project work plans, quality management plans, and lead others to execute based on a client’s requirements.
Client requires the ability to successfully pass security background check to access facilities. The level of background check required by the clients, requires US citizenship.
Ability to climb ladders and stairs, work at heights, and perform moderate physical activity such as walking and standing, in a physically challenging environment, both indoors and outdoors.
Be able to pass a pre-employment screening including but not limited to: criminal background checks, previous employment verification, education verification, drug screening, and motor vehicle records.
Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check and possess a valid driver's license.
