The role is the go‑to MEP/CIVIL expert, responsible for managing all activities from planning and design through procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and final handover. You will translate client requirements into detailed project plans and support design scheduling, value engineering, and change management.
You will drive project execution by defining scope, objectives, and budgets, allocating resources, and overseeing tendering and procurement. The role also includes representing clients throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery.
Building high‑performing teams and promoting JLL’s reputation are key priorities; you will mentor teams, foster collaboration, and pursue new project opportunities. Effective risk management, including health and safety, is essential, requiring identification and mitigation of potential issues.
- Lead MEP/CIVIL planning, design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Gather and translate client MEP/CIVIL requirements into actionable project plans.
- Schedule, value engineer, and manage design changes for MEP/CIVIL projects.
- Support contract manager with procurement and variation order management.
- Assist construction manager with site installation, inspections, and contractor coordination.
- Define project scope, objectives, and budgets; allocate resources to meet financial targets.
- Oversee tendering, procurement, and representation of clients throughout project lifecycle.
- Build and mentor high‑performing project teams to ensure successful execution.
- Represent JLL to secure new project opportunities and enhance business reputation.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate MEP/CIVIL related risks, including health and safety issues.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in MEP/CIVIL engineering or a related discipline, with at least five years of combined education and experience, and possesses strong construction site and development management skills. Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, BMS, security, AV, and IT systems, as well as business acumen and market knowledge, is required.
Strong communication abilities in English and Chinese are needed for business development presentations, contract negotiations, and stakeholder engagement. The role demands superb interpersonal skills to create a proactive environment, motivate staff, and maintain client relationships.
- Hold a degree in MEP/CIVIL engineering or related field with ≥5 years combined education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience in construction site management and development management.
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, BMS, security, AV, and IT systems.
- Strong business acumen, market analysis, and contract negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication in English and Chinese; capable of delivering business development presentations.
- Proven interpersonal skills to foster proactive, collaborative work environments.
