Ensure holes are drilled out at near side and are centered when required.
Check sheets for any forming problems such as webbing, unformed areas and sockets not drilled
Effectively communicate all relevant issues to the next shift so that they can accommodate any changes that have already been made and/or problems with the machine
Notify operator immediately if problem is persistent
Accurately control part count on various processes.
Assure quality of parts produced on various processes.
For assigned zone, pick up all trash, sweep area, and perform any other cleaning as needed
Maintain awareness of the machines and potential problems on various processes.
Perform a visual inspection at beginning of every shift
Safely work without direction on the sheet grinder

Plant environment with potential exposure to all types of weather, including excessive heat, excessive cold, and excessive noise
Ability to compare and accurately determine difference in size, shape, and form of objects
Familiarity with various SPX - PVC parts and their configuration
Lifting up to 50 pounds; 50+ pounds with assistance
Ability to apply shop mathematics to solve problems
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to use other hand tools (both manual and pneumatic) correctly and safely
Ability to read a tape measure in metric and imperial standards
Ability to work well with others
Ability of use both hands overhead
Knowledge of PVC material components and their use in the thermoforming and/or extrusion processes
Forklift & walk-behind licenses preferred, but not required
Ability to interpret build orders and engineering drawings correctly
Perform repetitive motions
Ability to communicate effectively
High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
Ability to work within precise limits and/or standards of accuracy
Sitting, standing, walking, bending, grasping, pushing, pulling, crawling, climbing, twisting, reaching, working at heights, and using a ladder as required
Knowledge of relevant machinery and operational safety guidelines
Ability to multi-task
Ability to plan work and select proper tools
Ability to adapt to change and flex his/her work at appropriate times so as to support the manufacturing process
Ability to follow and understand directions
