Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of traffic and non-motorised user safety, including the procurement and management of highway and footway space and all related traffic management operations.
Oversee the implementation and adherence to legal instruments such as Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders (TTROs) and Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices (TTRNs).
Ensure the appointment and oversight of qualified Traffic Management Professionals to deliver, inspect, and monitor Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) in compliance with TTM design standards, mitigating risks to ALARP levels.
Represent the project in stakeholder and contractor engagement meetings.
Identify and mitigate foreseeable risks associated with traffic management.
Ensure that TTM design and engineering provide safe systems of work for all users.
Manage the TTM programme and oversee the CCTV control room for incident management and event logging

NEBOSH Construction Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely, or CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (minimum requirement).
Engineering Technician (EngTECH) or higher registration with the Engineering Council.
