This position involves working within the MEP Design & Engineering Team at Axium Global’s Delivery Centre in Andheri, Mumbai. The team consists of skilled professionals, including mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineers with varied experience. The Senior Engineer would require taking on a leadership role with the potential of growing a team reporting to them

The role will involve regular communication with the client and taking on design responsibilities on project types like commercial, residential, retail, laboratories & hospitals.
Responsibility for the overall design of electrical systems & deliverables, including Concept Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Tender Design / Documentation (including Technical Specifications, BOQ, Schedules and Drawings)
The role would involve understanding codes & standards local to project location and utilizing the latest & industry leading software.

Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit for preparing electrical design layouts and using MS Office
Experience working on UK/Australia/Middle East projects
Experience working with reputable global MEP engineering companies
BE/BTech/ME/MTech degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field
Ability to work independently on various electrical calculations and power/ lighting/schematic mark-ups as per project requirements
Experience using electrical design software for carrying out electrical calculations
Proven experience in managing client's communication independently
Ability to design LV / HV Systems to current legislation and codes of practice for various types of buildings based on client brief & guidelines
Minimum 6 years of experience in designing electrical systems for commercial, retail, hospital or residential projects
Experience with UK and US projects is highly important, demonstrating familiarity with their respective standards, regulations and design practices to ensure compliance and project success.
