Aerospace Supply Chain Manager

Description

• Responsible for physical inventory management including cycle counting and overall inventory accuracy across raw materials, WIP and FG categories.
• Oversee the management of raw material purchase orders to ensure material availability needed for all manufacturing requirements.
• Maintain all key system planning parameters including lead times and safety stocks to ensure accurate MRP planning signals.
• Maintain and monitor key performance indicators including on-time delivery, past due dollars, manufacturing trends, and inventory metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives including Kaizen events to ensure effective and efficient supply chain processes.
• Create the policies, procedures, and systems required to meet the business objectives and to ensure continuous improvement in all material management and supply chain planning areas.
• Manages and drives the local site S&OP processes.
• Identify current and potential inventory shortages and develop and implement appropriate recovery plans to minimize production disruptions.
• Develop and lead a team of highly engaged supply chain professionals consisting of material planners, schedulers, analysts, and physical inventory managers.
• Produce an integrated master schedule for coatings and sealants (or transparencies) that reflects external and internal customer demand and priorities.
• Implement the strategies required to sustain optimized inventory levels that achieves the company's DOH goals and supports a high customer service level.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a supply chain role within a manufacturing setting
• ERP planning background is essential
• APICS certification preferred but can be achieved while working
• Prior leadership or management experience is extremely helpful
• Only US Citizens, Green card holders, political asylees, or refugees are eligible to apply.
• Expert understand of MRP systems and its' planning parameters
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Operations
• Demonstrated understanding of reporting tools including Excel and BI reports
