Proven experience overseeing and developing electrical designs for industrial facilities, including detailed plans and specifications for major projects
6 or more years of direct design experience, 15 or more for senior level
Working knowledge of power system modeling software
Water / Wastewater consulting experience
Use of AutoCad and/or Revit CAD programs
Experience with power system studies including short circuit analysis, overcurrent coordination, and arc flash
Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Overall understanding of water and wastewater treatment plant systems in a plant-wide setting
Understanding of the electrical complexities associated with water and wastewater treatment equipment
Demonstrated ability to develop and design low and medium voltage power distribution systems
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited program
Strong teaching and coaching skills to bring new members up to speed
SKM PowerTools for Windows
Experience with instrumentation and controls and SCADA design
Technically competent in engineering design including power distribution and standby power generating systems
Proven field experience in technical electrical problem resolution
