Understand design compliance and reporting procedures and processes and lead in the communication of requirements.
Select and engage, then monitor the performance of external design partners within the discipline, including their deliverables, costs, and timeframes.
Conduct or arrange internal reviews of work to ensure quality before submission to the client.
Foster interaction between design and construction teams to maximise innovation and project success.
Supervise the work of subordinate design and drafting staff to ensure project requirements are met.
Ensure compliance with client design standards such as TS104, TS107, and other applicable standards.
Perform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, systems, and procedures.
Coordinate and manage different packages of work, including SAPN, consultants, and our investigations team.
Plan and control the delivery of project design to ensure the achievement of quality, completion, and project objectives.
Prepare budgets and schedules of design delivery for management approval, then manage and report the cost of design delivery in the project life cycle.
Produce Work Orders for subcontractors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Essential background in HV/LV electrical design.
5–8 years of Construction experience.
Typical 5–10 years in technical management roles on significant projects.
Ideally be Adelaide-based, or able to attend Adelaide regularly (approximately once a fortnight).
Proven commercial and legislative compliance skills and design frameworks and systems.
5+ years of Design experience.
Tertiary Qualification in Architecture, Building, Construction, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
Multi-discipline project experience in Building, Construction, and Design.
