Independent UK electrical infrastructure specialist delivering turnkey HV & LV projects up to 132 kV.
The role is for a Quantity Surveyor to join the expanding Commercial team, someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines and enjoys challenging daily processes. This position will work closely with Project Management to ensure projects meet commercial and financial targets while supporting the delivery of sustainable energy infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include supporting project managers, creating regular stakeholder reports, conducting valuations, monitoring subcontractor payments, managing change events, and collaborating with the Commercial Contract Manager to recover contractual entitlements. The successful candidate will also develop process documentation, review commercial documentation, control costs, and assist with claims, disputes, and project handovers.
Candidates should have a technical or commercial degree or equivalent experience, a proven track record of managing contracts and tenders, and familiarity with NEC and JCT contracts. Strong interpersonal, coordination, and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage project budgets, cash‑flow, and multiple stakeholder relationships.
