Providing land and property solutions for infrastructure, energy, and utilities projects.
Graduate Surveyors support utilities and infrastructure projects by managing land‑related issues throughout the development of pipelines, power lines and roads. They negotiate access agreements, handle compensation claims, ensure regulatory compliance and act as the vital link between clients and landowners to minimise impact on agricultural and rural properties.
Typical duties include providing land and property advice, drafting heads of terms and licences, conducting site noticing and condition surveys, carrying out site visits to monitor progress, assessing valuation and compensation, overseeing landlord‑tenant relationships, and leveraging big‑data technology for reporting and scheme delivery.
The Graduate Surveying programme is designed to guide graduates to qualified status via the MRICS (APC) or AssocRICS (ATC) routes. By combining a structured training curriculum with hands‑on project experience, the programme aims to develop the next generation of leading surveyors.
To join the programme you must hold a RICS‑accredited or relevant degree that allows you to sit the APC or ATC exams. A full UK driving licence and your own means of transport are essential due to the field‑based nature of the role.
