The role requires applying technical expertise—whether in a single specialty or across multiple fields—to resolve complex problems. The incumbent will also monitor progress, expenditures, and quality, and communicate results both verbally and in written reports.
The position provides Electrical Design Authority engineering staff augmentation for the Tritium Projects and Facilities at SRNS. Responsibilities include engineering analysis, support for operations, maintenance, project startup and construction, walk‑downs, design reviews, and the creation of design input and output documents such as system design descriptions, single‑line drawings, equipment lists, control schematics, grounding, heat tracing, fire detection, and various electrical calculations.
Candidates must hold an advanced degree and relevant experience, such as a Ph.D. with approximately ten years, an M.S. with twelve years, or a B.S. with roughly fifteen years of experience.
Work is performed in an office setting with standard equipment and may require light to moderate lifting, short walks, and typical office activities such as standing, sitting, and using a computer and telephone. Proof of U.S. citizenship is required due to government regulations.
