Develop and maintain depletion plans for in situ thermal and solvent recovery processes (eg. SAGD), integrating reservoir performance and facility constraints
Conduct reservoir simulation and material balance analysis to forecast production, steam-oil ratios, solvent-oil ratios, and recovery factors
The role is key to developing reservoir management strategies, optimizing production from thermal recovery operations, and driving the development of future oil sands projects
Support pilot testing and deployment of emerging technologies (e.g. solvent-assisted processes, enhanced recovery methods, digital tools).
Lead or support the design and implementation of well workovers, stimulations, and infill drilling
Collaborate with geoscience and reservoir teams to evaluate reservoir behavior, identify enhancement opportunities, and refine development strategies.
Contribute to future development projects, including well pad design, facility expansions, and debottlenecking, ensuring alignment with depletion strategy
