Snagging Inspector

Description

The Property Snagging Inspector is responsible for conducting detailed inspections of newly built or refurbished residential and commercial properties to identify construction defects, finishing issues, or quality concerns prior to handover. The inspector ensures that all units meet the required standards, specifications, and regulations by preparing comprehensive snagging reports and coordinating with contractors or developers for rectification.

• Preparing detailed snagging reports with photographic evidence and clear recommendations.
• Maintaining accurate inspection records and ensuring compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
• Coordinating with project managers, developers, and maintenance teams to ensure quality handover to clients.
• Conducting thorough visual and functional inspections of all property areas including structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works.
• Following up on rectification works and performing re-inspections to confirm completion.
• Identifying and documenting defects, incomplete works, and deviations from approved specifications.

Requirements

• Good communication and coordination abilities with contractors, developers, and clients.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in property snagging, quality inspection, or construction supervision.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
• Ability to identify both aesthetic and technical defects with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent report-writing and documentation skills (experience using snagging software, Onsite, is an advantage).
• Familiarity with Dubai building standards and RERA regulations (preferred).
• Certification from InterNACHI or other recognized inspection bodies is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction finishes, building materials, MEP systems, and snagging procedures.
