What you’ll do: you will manage the financial health of multiple projects by preparing invoices, analyzing performance, monitoring budgets and forecasting overruns, creating and maintaining project accounts in the ERP system, handling unbilled management, setting up and closing out projects, assisting project managers with billing issues and collections, reconciling receipts and budgets, communicating with project managers, clients and subconsultants, compiling information for internal and external auditors, and contributing to staff trainings.
What you bring: a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent experience), at least five years of project accounting experience, a basic understanding of GAAP and ability to analyze project financials, proficiency with Deltek Vantagepoint or similar job‑cost accounting software, competence in reading and reviewing contracts, and experience working with Departments of Transportation; experience with Caltrans is a plus.
