We are seeking a Contractor Sales professional for our Waterloo team to oversee product and equipment sales to contractors, develop and maintain customer, contractor, and vendor relationships, and contribute to project success.

Provide input on quotes and bids for equipment design and selection
Evaluate competitive products and communicate O'Dell solutions' value
Troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues with Service Team
Assist design‑build contractors and act as point of contact
Complete product training to stay current on new technologies
Train new sales employees and facilitate internal training sessions
Network and develop business through client lunches, charity, and society events
Deliver presentations on new products to customers
Conduct ongoing project site visits
Build relationships with new and prospective customers to promote products and technology

Requirements

Minimum two years contractor sales experience in HVAC market
Read construction drawings, perform accurate take‑offs and pricing
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM (NetSuite) – asset
Expertise in sales techniques and strong customer service skills
Valid G driver’s license with reliable vehicle
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Experience managing multiple quoting or project management tasks
Familiarity with HVAC selection software
Knowledge of Ontario Building Code and ASHRAE standards
