PA Engineer Co-op Level Fall/Winter 2025-2026 (September start)

Description

• Regularly reviews assignments to assure optimum efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Plans and controls all activities to provide an accident-free workplace.
• Assists Engineers with large projects, as needed.
• Conducts work activities regarding environmental rules and regulations.
• Performs a variety of routine tasks that will improve the individual’s familiarization with the engineering methods, practices, and programs of the Company.
• Process optimization, managing risk, Operational focus.
• Assists with the development of engineering goals, objectives, budgets, programs and procedures.
• Gathers, correlates, and analyzes specific data using established procedures.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and/or suggests improved methods.
• Performs detailed and/or routine engineering assignments involving established calculations, tests and analysis.
• Supports operating and maintenance functions with engineering analysis, troubleshooting, problem identification, problem resolution activities.

Requirements

• Detail oriented, like seeing tangible results. Prefers technical detail and analysis. Execution focus.
• A blend of business and technical skills. Strategic focus.
• Enrolled on a full-time basis (12 semester hours) in a curriculum leading to a baccalaureate or master’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work in person, hybrid, in a team environment.
• Energized by time in the field, ability to engage with customers and crews. Fast paced/emergent response focus.
• Possess a valid driver's license from state of residence.
• Available full time during the program dates.
• Minimum GPA of 2.50.
• Travel within the service territory required.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
