  • Research unbilled issues, discrepancies, and payments to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze financial data, WIP, and gross profit variances to keep projects on track.
  • Partner with Project Managers, Finance, and Leadership to ensure the financial health of some of our most exciting and visible projects.
  • Drive timely and precise invoicing while coordinating with Project Managers to secure approvals.
  • Oversee sub-consultant invoicing, approvals, and compliance with contract terms.
  • Assist with project audits, monthly close, and provide insights to senior leadership.
  • Manage all project financial records, ensuring accurate billing, revenue recognition, and reporting.
  • Support accounts receivable and cash application efforts to improve collections.
  • Set up and maintain projects in Deltek Vantagepoint ERP, ensuring accuracy from day one.

  • Proven experience acting as a point person and lead on the external auditing process.
  • Ingenuity – seeking new opportunities and consistently identifying unexpected and practical ways to solve problems.
  • Strong proficiency with GAAP, technical accounting, internal controls, and financial close processes.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Expertise in Percentage of Completion / Construction Accounting.
  • 3–5 years of project accounting experience, ideally within a project-based billing environment.
  • Experience in the A/E/C or construction industry.
