- Be physically fit, nimble, enjoys working outdoors. Ability to drive for long distances, walk 4 or more miles and physically capable of heavy lifting items such as storm sewer and manhole covers or to transverse slopes to locate drainage assets.
- Valid driver’s license with clean MVR report
- Familiarity with technology, including use mobile applications and network hotspots. Must be detail oriented to follow inspection protocols in MPI PBMI Field Assessment Manual and follow precise data entry protocols in the PBMI MPI Application Manual and emailed instructions.
- 2+years’ of experience on roadway maintenance or roadway construction inspection
- Be Health and Safety Conscious as maneuvering amongst biological hazards, walking along rough\uneven terrain working in remote areas, and on the shoulder of heavily travelled roadways.
- Be able to navigate laptop to complete office tasks. Includes Microsoft Office for email communication and web-based HR related tasks and trainings.
- Be self-motivated, hardworking and organized. Must feel comfortable working alone with ability to communicate with peers and office members as needed.
