- Identify replacement options for obsolete components.
- Reverse engineer PCBs and assist in developing or modifying test equipment and schematics.
- Use advanced soldering techniques, including Surface Mount Technology (SMT), to remove and replace components.
- Perform production-level board repairs, including repetitive tasks on identical boards.
- Support simpler tasks as needed to assist the broader team.
- Apply appropriate bench test equipment for accurate diagnostics.
- Troubleshoot power supplies, controllers, and electromechanical systems.
- Diagnose and repair printed circuit boards (PCBs) to the component level.
- Create and update repair procedures and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

- Ability to reverse engineer and modify PCBs and schematics.
- Advanced soldering skills, especially SMT soldering.
- Experience in troubleshooting power supplies and controllers.

- Significant military experience in electronics board repair is a plus.
- Capability to build and debug PCBs is a strong indicator of repair capability.
