The role focuses on daily troubleshooting and light engineering to support production, requiring experience with calculations and steam and utility studies. The engineer will apply engineering principles, prepare specifications, and ensure designs meet safety and company standards.
- Perform troubleshooting and light engineering to support production activities.
- Conduct calculations and steam/utilities studies.
- Ensure process designs are safe, technically sound, and meet company standards.
- Support project managers in review committees and project definition.
- Lead or assist special technical studies and pre‑scouting improvement ideas.
- Provide ongoing engineering support through detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start‑up phases.
- Prepare specifications, sketches, calculations, and technical documents for review and approval.
- Visit vendor facilities and job sites to inspect equipment and evaluate project requirements.
- Interface with stakeholders, customers, other disciplines, and construction crews to align objectives and coordinate work.
- Review vendor drawings, develop bid tabulations, and prepare purchase requisitions.
- Supervise design personnel and help maintain project schedule and budget.
- Meet quality assurance requirements and support field assignments as needed.
