Tax and Compliance: Manages and ensures accurate filing of all federal, state, and local payroll tax reports, including quarterly and year-end filings.

Experience working in the utilities and/or energy industry.
Three (3) years of relevant experience in accounting (specifically payroll, benefits, or related areas).
Strong understanding of payroll processing, GAAP, and technical application
Leadership, mentorship, and coaching skills.
Proficient computer skills (including Excel, Outlook, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Visio).
Demonstrated experience with SAP and/or other HR/Payroll integrated systems with emphasis on full-cycle in-house payroll processing.
Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)/ Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
Ability to interpret federal and state payroll laws to ensure compliance.

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
